Funeral Beach (released in October of this year) has been the album Blood Command have been threatening to release since 2009. It is the perfect mix of punk, rock, hardcore and pop. Reviews from all over Norway and Europe have been ecstatic across the board and the first single “High Five For Life” has been, and is still, A-Listed on Norwegian National Radio P3 for over 2 months.

Blood Command will be one of the must-see acts at next years by:Larm Music Conference and will be touring right throughout the Spring and into summer festivals in Norway and Europe for 2013.

Siden sist besøk i Norge i februar tidligere i år, har ICONA POP tatt pop verdenen med storm. Deres singel “I Love It” har vært en kjempe hit i et mylder av land (inkludert A-listing på P3) og de har signert med det verdensomspennende plateselskapet Warner Music og er på vei til USA for å fremme sine grep om det amerikanske markedet.

I Love It solgte nylig til platinum i Sverige og har klatret høyt på listene i blandt annet Danmark, Norge, New Zealand og Australia. Tunge navn som Rolling Stones Magazine, Pitchfork, Stereogum, Perez Hilton m. fl. har alle rost Icona Pop som fra flere hold har blitt kalt for et av de beste bandene i 2012.

Den 29. oktober kommer Icona Pop til Blå for å spille sin første konsert i Norge siden i vinter.

Maya Vik (ex Montee, Furia, Savoy) last year launched her solo career with her debut album “Chateu Faux-Coupe” which received fantastic reviews in all of the major Norwegian media outlets and is now ready to drop her follow-up album this Friday (“Bummer Gun”) on Oslo Records.

The lead up to the album release this week has seen Maya and Oslo Records release 4 free digital singles on a weekly basis this summer through a collaboration with Hi-Fi Klubben. A video for the first single was shot on a recent hugely successful tour of Japan and was premiere on VG yesterday, watch the music video by Pål Laukli here!

Maya Vik and her band performs two shows this week during Øya Festival.

Following a rousing Coachella performance and US shows with St Vincent, Keep Shelly In Athens are about to embark on their first extensive UK/EU tour this week. Starting in Paris tomorrow (3rd May), the enigmatic Grecian electronic duo headline new London venue Birthdays on the 7th May as well as appearing at Camden Crawl, Sounds From The Other City and The Great Escape festivals before heading off to Scandinavia and beyond.

As previously announced KSiA are re-releasing their first two Forest Family EPs, ‘In Love With Dusk’ and ‘Our Own Dream’ as one release digitally as well as on vinyl. The double EP will be also available at the European shows as packaged by Plancha, with an exclusive new remix and original track ‘A Tear in My I’ and ‘Hauntin’ Me’ (on the CD version).

The Grecian downbeat-pop duo meander through their electronic salad days and R&B beats of yesteryear. Melding an Ibizan ethic with atmospheric synthesizing, KSiA continues to push the convention of electronic music to the brink, a challenge to the Balearic norm.
